Checklist

Checklist: is your ERP ready for a dealer shop?

Go through your interface, data and processes before the integration starts. Every point you can tick saves a round of questions later.

What you will learn

Checklist, 3 pages, PDF

  • The interface documentation: what it must describe, from authentication to error codes
  • Master data: articles, dealers, accounts, prices and terms
  • Flows back to the ERP: orders, call-offs and new dealers
  • Operation: who is told when an export or the interface fails
  • People: who decides, who tests, who answers questions

Step 1 of 2

How to use it

Work through the checklist together with the person who knows your ERP interface best. Tick what is in place, mark what is missing and note who will close the gap. The open points are the agenda for the first technical call.

Nothing on the list is a reason to rule a project out. A more complex ERP means more integration work on our side, not more work on yours.

A look inside

  • The interface documentation is complete and current, including error codes and limits
  • Each dealer has exactly one customer number, and price agreements are tied to it
  • It is clear who in your team receives the alert when an order export fails
