Launch

Start small, learn fast: the friendly-customer launch in practice

Why the platform does not start for all dealers at once, how to choose the first five to ten, and which numbers tell you it is time for the rollout.

A shop that opens for every dealer on the same day has one chance to make a first impression, and every small problem reaches everyone at once. That is why the platform starts with a small group of friendly dealers. You learn fast, fix what needs fixing and gain the first internal references before the rollout.

Who belongs in the first group

Choose 5 to 10 dealers who will try the shop and give honest feedback. A good group is mixed: a dealer who orders often in small quantities, one with large seasonal orders, one who is comfortable on a phone and one who is not. Friendly does not mean uncritical. You want the dealers who will tell you what does not work.

The two weeks

  1. Introduction workshop

A short session with each participant: login, search, own prices, first order. The rep is there.

  2. A small incentive

A small discount for the test period helps. We recommend 1 to 5 percent.

  3. About two weeks of ordering

The dealers order as they normally would. Your team watches the numbers every few days.

  4. Feedback workshop

What worked, what was missing, what was confusing. Then the decision on the next stage.

The numbers to watch

  • Dealer accounts created: did every participant log in?
  • Time to the first order: hours or days after the introduction?
  • Weekly active dealers: does the shop become a habit?
  • Online share: which part of their orders do the participants place in the shop?

None of these needs a perfect value after two weeks. What matters is the direction, and the reasons behind a number. A dealer who did not order again usually has a concrete reason, and the feedback workshop is where you hear it.

From the first group to the rollout

The shop then opens for more dealers in stages, for example region by region or rep by rep. Each stage brings its own introduction, and the dealers of the first group become a strong argument: a colleague who already orders in the shop is a reference other dealers trust.
